Open source software thrives on community! Expand your network and learn about meetups, initiatives, software projects, and nonprofit tech events that you can participate in.
We expect there will be representatives from these kinds of groups:
- Local/regional meetups
- Virtual meetups
- Drupal initiatives and projects
- Tech interest or affinity groups
- Drupal camps
- Nonprofit tech conferences
- Open source software projects
We'll post the list of participating groups a few weeks before the event. This is also a chance to say hello to people you've met online and thank project maintainers in person.
This event is inspired by the local Drupal community spaces at the last two DrupalCon North Americas. By giving the groups fair its own dedicated time on the program, we hope active group members and new participants will have time to make meaningful connections that will continue after the Summit ends.
Requesting a Table
Group leaders or active members can sign up to promote their meetup, event, project, or initiative by filling out the form below. Grow your community and spread the word about the great work you are doing! This will be a unique opportunity to interact with other group leaders and conference attendees.
Participation Guidelines
- Vendors and for-profit businesses cannot request a table on behalf of their business. They are welcome to become sponsors and promote their products and services in the sponsorship area. Their employees can also act as representatives for community groups.
- You may bring swag to hand out, like flyers, stickers, and t-shirts. Please do not charge for any items distributed at the event unless selling merchandise is part of your regular fundraising efforts.
- You may encourage people to sign up for mailing lists and follow you on social - don't require it.
- All group representatives must be registered conference attendees.
- If you are engaging in behavior that conflicts with the community-oriented and open source spirit of the event, you will be asked to leave your table.
