The recently released Gigya Socialize module for Drupal brings new convenience to connecting Drupal sites to social media sites like Twitter and Facebook. This session will explore using this new module as well as dedicated modules for connecting Drupal sites to other social media sites.

We’ll cover examples including:

  • Integration of social media into existing Drupal sites.

  • Using social media sites to increase awareness of your Drupal site

  • Incorporating data from social media sites into your Drupal site.

Among the social media sites we’ll cover are Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Flickr and YouTube.

The slides on connecting your site to social media have been posted along with an earlier webinar with a similar demonstration to that included in our talk.
