A prominent Drupal firm in Portland Oregon, this two person team is the swiss army knife of Drupal code and workflows. Shomeya enjoys supporting the community, and is excited to be a part of the PNW Drupal Summit this year. More about the team:
Michael has been working with the web since 1996 when he could only dream about content management systems such as Drupal and the websites that a truly modular CMS could power. After spending a few years in other fields, he came back to the web with a new outlook thanks to the revolution that was made possible by the many open source blogging and CMSs available. Michael spent over a year evaluating over 15 popular software packages before finally finding that system that he had dreamed about 10 years earlier, in Drupal. In short order he began building sites and before he knew it he was spending as more time doing consulting and development for others than he was working on his own sites, and soon made the switch to full time Drupal developer.
Now, Michael spends the time that he's not helping Shomey's clients build bigger, faster, more powerful websites contributing back to Drupal through patches to Drupal core, contributed modules hosted on Drupal.org, and providing support to others in the Drupal forums and IRC channels. Sarah's love of design and the internet started with Photoshop 4.0 and Instant Messaging with ICQ. Continuing her design and marketing education, she majored in communications and went on to work in LA.
Working in Post-Production for several reality shows she learned the value of consistent organization and data storage practices. At the Apple Store she taught customers everything from how to double-click to the highest level of Final Cut Pro. At Shomeya Sarah uses all of these skills to produce the best results for Shomeya's clients, adding a friendly-face to an otherwise technical and complicated process.
